My first soundtrack – aka. new music!

I’ve composed the soundtrack Lubiewo-Kärleksön that has premiere at Gothenburg City Theatre. It’s a wonderful dramatisation of Michal Witkowskis great novel with the same name. I will be both performing the songs and acting in the play.

So I’ve composed my first soundtrack to a theatre play to be released next Friday, the day of the premiere of Lubiewo-Kärleksön. A wonderful dramatisation of Michal Witkowskis great novel Lubiewo.

The video above is from the rehearsals. As you can see, I’ll take part in the play on stage.

My version of Vienna

I was invited to sing in the Swedish television show På Spåret earlier this week. Together with the amazing Augustifamiljen i performed Ultravox’ old synth classic Vienna with Mozarts Lacrimosa as intro.

I think it came out really well. Hope you like it.

New Moto Boy Album Recordings

Hi everyone! There is now a date set to begin recordings of a new moto boy album. After the cancelled tour in november 2010 I´ve spent the long winter writing songs and looking for the right people to work with, and now in a couple of weeks, on the 15th of june, we´ll start recording in 9volt Studio in Malmö. Im excited to get things going, to see how it turns out. I´ll post some stuff to show you whats going on as things progress. love//motoboy

Tack alla som kom förbi igår när jag spelade några låtar på Södra förstadsgatan i Malmö till förmån för Musikhjälpens insamling för att motverka barnhandel. Det blev till slut 5992,50 kronor ni skänkte under min 20 minuter långa konsert.

Lite tidigare på morgonen spelade jag även The Heart Is A Rebel och Early Grave i Musikhjälpen-studion på Gustavs Adolfs torg.

My voice is back and the theater tour is rescheduled

My voice is back and better than ever, for a while there I thought the singing was over for good, it was really busted, but three weeks of silence and rejuvenating and Im good to go again.

So I’m very excited about going to Finland next week for three shows, wich will be last for this year, I just love Finland and it would have been a real bummer to have had to cancel there to.

And I’m excited to announce that a number of the dates from the theater tour “Svart Lilja” has been saved and moved to April 2011, not all of them but many. I’ve been wanting to do this tour for so many years, so I’m really happy to be able to do it.

Here are the dates:
14 Apr – Stenhammarsalen, Konserthuset, Göteborg
15 Apr – Inkonst (teatern), Malmö
16 Apr – Huset i Magstræde, Copenhagen
18 Apr – Södra Teatern, Stockholm
