The theater tour is cancelled
Bad news. About a week ago, the day after the show in Washington DC, I woke up with barely any voice left. After a few visits to a doctor it turns out to be a combo of a minor infection and severe overstraint, I’ve simply overworked my voice.
The only cure is essentially to just shut up and let the body work it out by itself. So therefore, and this bothers me to say, we have decided to cancel and postpone the entire Svart Lilja tour of november 2010 to new dates in 2011.
I know my audience and my fans expects and deserves nothing less than a fantastic concert, and I can’t settle with being anything but fantastic, but under these circumstances I can’t perform like that. In fact, I can’t perform at all.
This is the first time in three years that this have happened to me, that I have no options whatsoever, I just can’t sing.
I hate to cancel, but there’s no alternative, sorry, I’ll se you next year. As soon as we have new dates and info about the tour we’ll post it here.
